PE - Our PE days are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school for those afternoons. For the first half term the children will learn fundamental skills and will also do athletics.
Our humanities subjects are taught through our Dimensions Curriculum. In the Autumn term the children will be following the topic, Animal Crackers in which they will learn about animals, their needs and their environments. They will then move onto a second topic, Food glorious food, in which they will gain an understanding of the world around them.
We have a dedicated science week once every half term. For the Autumn term the children will be learning all about the human body and how to keep happy and healthy.
Also, during the autumn term the children will be doing computing. They will cover e-safety and we will also be learning how to use Purple Mash to paint digitally. After the October half term holidays the children will switch from computing to RE. They will be learning about special festivals including Christmas and for our Christmas around the world week they will learn about how Christmas is celebrated in Germany.
