Mental Health at Orrets Meadow
 
Positive Mental Health of pupils, staff and parents is paramount at Orrets Meadow. For the last two years we have been busily achieving the mental health standards.
 
Our Mental Health Lead is Mr Saul.
 
Mental Health Governor is Mrs Cooper 
 
Mental Health team members - Mrs Mervyn (TA) Miss MacGregor (Teacher) Mr Ferris (Teacher) and Mrs Forshaw (TA).
 
Over the last year the team have ensured the school now has:
 
  • A Mental Health Policy
  • A PSHE curriculum with Mental Health coverage
  • A dedicated PSHE/Mental Health slot in the timetable
  • All staff have received CPD in areas of mental Health
  • Pyramid of Need - to help us identify pupils at risk of MH.
  • Parent workshops on pupil and parent mental health
  • Posters around school to show pupils how to refer in themselves MH issues
Our latest Pupil survey shows 100% of pupils are happy all or most of the time in school.
